I am helping!

It's much easier to work on your laptop when there's a friendly doggie sitting next to you demanding attention. See? I'm so helpful! Can I have a treat?

Two problems

OK, there are two things wrong with this picture. First, the doggie bed is for the doggie (that's me). Second, ice cream is for sharing! Why won't they share?

Infectious disease hazard

Damitra: OK, I think I'm ready to go.
Griffin: I know what else you need. It's small and furry.
Damitra: Aww. But she won't fit in my bag.
Griffin: And she's an infectious disease hazard.
Damitra: She is an infectious disease hazard.

1) "Small and furry" has been a family catchphrase for several years. It started when Damitra was complaining to her dad that she had a headache. He said, "I have something here that will cure the headache." She said, "Is it small and furry?" (both referring to Rusty)

2) "Infectious disease hazard" is an old catchphrase for Rusty because he likes to give everyone kisses and would therefore be hazardous in a hospital (so he can't participate in the pet therapy programs). It applies to Sydney too.
