Soccer ball blues

Why does my dad keep trying to make me play with a little 2-inch sorry excuse for a soccerball? I mean, it squeaks! What kind of soccerball squeaks? I'm holding out for the real thing. Why do they keep asking why I won't play with it? I have my principles, you know!
